St Josephs Parish is situated midway between Manchester and Liverpool, with the two
nearest towns being Warrington and Widnes.
The Parish has excellent access to the motorways links being at the hub of the network
for the M6 / M62 / M56 / M57. Manchester and Liverpool are easily accessed by road
or rail. Plus Manchester and Liverpool Airports are very close by.

Penketh and Great Sankey has seen a influx of new developments in the area with plenty
of new housing and commercial property, The largest being the building of the New
Chapelford urban village, and the granting of permission for the building of the
New Omega Business Centre.
St Joseph’s has two Primary schools in the parish which have Gained excellent reputations
and achieved excellent OFSTED results. There are also two local Catholic high schools
that the Primary schools feed in to.
